With the major focus on selling commercial cattle, Balog Auction has never been a one dimensional market!
Besides selling commercial cattle live thru the sales ring - Bob Balog was the first person in 1991 to start selling commercial cattle by video auction.
Since 1971, Bob Balog has also been one of the most successful Purebred Livestock Auctioneer’s on the Continent, selling in 5 Canadian Provinces and 13 States in the USA.
Machinery, Equipment and Farm Machinery sales have been and continue to be a large part of Balog’s business thru the 80’s and 90s, it was not uncommon for Balog to sell between 40 to 50 farm sales a year.
With the arrival to the business of Bob’s son Louis, real estate is also a major portfolio. Land auction’s have been very successful and the everyday real estate business for Louis is exceptional.
Antique auctions, horse, elk, bison and llama auctions, collector auctions, bank & receivership auctions and of course charity auctions are all part of the Balog schedule.
All of the members of Balog Auction from day one have been ardent supporters of all charities, youth groups and hospital and educational auctions.
